what happens when Zn strip is dipped in CuSO4 solution

Zn displaces Cu from its salt solution and form ZnSo4 +Cu .

here when we any metal drop in solution of salt we have to see it's electro motive force also called as emf if we have no idea for this force , we have to see electro motive force series of reduction potential or oxidation potential oxidation potential is negative of reduction potential. if any metal higher reduction potential than other which we dropped it's reaction will be occurs and metal of solution of salt and it will take place of metal which we dropped so here cu have high electro motive force or emf so cu will take place of zn
