What is a solution ? On which factor does a solution said to be diluted, concentrated, or saturated ?

SOLUTION

A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substance.

  • It is said to be diluted when the quantity of solvent is more than that of solute.
  • It is said to be concentrated if the quantity of of solute is more than that of the solvent.
  • It is said to be saturated when no more solute can be added to the solution at a given temperature.
