It is an alloy of iron chromium and nickel.It is rust free and very shiny.
Like taps,jewelery etc.

stainless steel is an alloy of iron which is created by mixing iron as a primary metal with a definite proportions of carbon , chromium and other elements. eg..alloy of iron with most of the part of nickel.
