let the ages of mahesh, deepak and Aarati be x, y, z respectively
then,
(x + y)/2 =13
x+y = 26
and, (y+z)/2 = 20
y+z = 40
also, x+z = 36
on adding all the equations we get,
2(x+y+z) = 102
x+y+z= 51
now subtract y+z=40 from x+y+z= 51 and we get,
y = 11
