At the highest point, it's acceleration will only be caused by the force of gravity, ignoring friction. So it's acceleration will be equal to approximately 10 m/s^2, towards the ground.

The acceleration will be the same at every point in the motion if air resistance is neglected.

For the earth, the acceleration will be the acceleration due to gravity 9.81 m/s^2
