  • Oxides of Nitrogen and Sulphur are atmospheric pollutants that are emitted by vehicles and manufacturing Industries. Eruption of volcanoes also cause small proportion of nitrogen and Sulphur oxide.
  • The PH of Acid rain is between 4.2 to 4.4.

  • When acid rains falls on lakes and river, it changes the chemical composition in a way which is very harmful for the aquatic life.
