amoeba is a microscopic single celled organism, which is found in ponds. it is a very simple organism and cannot be seen through naked eyes. amoeba has a cell membrane, a rounded dense nucleas and very small bubble like vacuaoles in it's cytoplasm. these vacuaoles are of two types, i.e food vacuaole and contractile vacuaole.food vacuaole contains liquid or water and controls water regulation activities. it's shape is not fixed it constantly changes it's shape and position. it takes in food by pseudopodium by surrounding it. pseudopodium is known as the false feet by which it does locomotion.
