Endocrine glands are those glands which secrete their secretions, i.e.,hormones directly into the blood. As, ducts are absent. They are also known as ductless glands.
Example- pituitary gland - secretes Growth Hormone.
Thyroid gland, pineal gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal gland, testis, ovary are the endocrine glands.
