What is Reproduction?

Reproduction is a biological process in which an organism gives rise to offsprings. The young ones grow, mature and in turn also produces new offspring.

In this type of reproduction the fusion of male and female gametes occurs. This can be either by the same individual or by different individuals of opposite sex.

In this type of reproduction we see just a single individual is capable of producing new ones. Gamete formation doesn't takes place in Asexual mode of reproduction. Example - fragmentation, budding, regeneration etc.
