                                   BALANCED EQUATION

A equation where the mass and charge are balanced; where the number of atoms for each element is the same on both sides of the chemical equation.

Balanced equation shows that the total charges for the reactants and the product are same.
EXAMPLES:  PCl
₃ + 3H₂O ___________ H₃PO₃  ₊ 3HCl
