Biodiversity or biological diversity is immensely rich in wildlife and cultivated species, diverse in form and function but closely integrated in a system theough multiple network of interdependencies.

Importance of biodiversity -
* plants,animals and microorganisms recreate the water we drink, the quality of air we breathe and the soil without which we cannot survive.
*forests play a key role as they are the primary producers.
* Biodiversity preserve the genetic diversity of plant and animal for better growth of apecies and breeding.
