Frequency =
No. of oscillations/time taken
= 20/4
= 5 Hz.

Or

Frequency = 1/Time period
Time period = 4/20 = 0.2
Frequency = 1/0.2 = 5 Hz

frequency = 1/time period
so,  time period = 4/20 = 0.2 sec
therefore,
frequency = 1/t = 1/0.2 = 5 Hz

i hope it helps..................

pahiroy1221: hoga hoga ! divya is also very good ..
Divyankasc: cool! good!! one more thing...just telling...if u r mentioning f=1/t ...but u have solved by no. of oscillations/t ....
Divyankasc: Its bit confusing...I also thought i am wrong...whoosh! i checked the the textbook then
pahiroy1221: mei ulta likh rhi thi !
pahiroy1221: lol ! :)
Divyankasc: Yep! now that's perfect ! ;)
pahiroy1221: hmm :)
