Bio-energy can be obtained using biomass in a plant which has a dome like structure built with bricks.

A slurry of cow-dung and water is mixed in mixing tank from where it is fed into the digester.

Working of biogas-

Organic input materials such as foodstuff remnants, fats or sludge can be fed into the biogas plant as substrate.

The final product of this fermentation process is biogas with methane as the main ingredient.

But aggressive hydrogen sulphide is also contained in the biogas.
