A black hole is a region of spacetime exhibiting such strong gravitational effects that nothing—not even particles and electromagnetic radiation such as light—can escape from inside it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole.

DONNOFDEVILS: ok then it is small khadda
EndlessGamer: it's small?
DONNOFDEVILS: ya its small

Black hole is a extremely large star that has died and because of its own gravity, the mass of star falls to a single point called "singularity" nd thn the gravity is so much even light cannot escape it. Because of this, a black area forms around the singularity called the "event horizon" which we are told about.

khib: can i have short definition
khib: ok thanks
