Booting is the process in which a computer loads it's operating system to the main memory, so that to make itself functional.
There are two types of booting:-
1- Warm Booting - It refers to the normal restarting or rebooting of the computer.
2- Cold Booting - It is type of rebooting in which the system reboots externally by switching off power supply.
Modern OS only load essential files of OS to the main memory.
