Break power :-

Break power is the end power you receive from the engine after all the frictional losses and delivered to wheel/wheel shaft of your vehicle. That's where the break power is measured for a vehicle. If its just an engine then the break power is measured from the output Shaft.

Indicated power:-

indicated power is the total power available from the expanding of the gases in the cylinders negating any friction, heat loss or entropy within the system. brake power is the power output of the drive shaft of an engine without the power loss caused by gear ,transition friction ,etc.

Thermal efficiency :-

the efficiency of a heat engine measured by the ratio of the work done by it to the heat supplied to it.

Brake thermal efficiency :-

Brake Thermal Efficiency is defined as break power of a heat engine as a function of the thermal input from the fuel. It is used to evaluate how well an engine converts the heat from a fuel to mechanical energy.
