Refrigerators, air conditioners and aerosol sprays emit chlorofluorocarbons.
And they are harmful because they deplete the ozone layer in the upper atmosphere which restricts the harmful ultraviolet rays from reaching the earth's surface.

hii!!

here's ur answer...

the full form of CFC is cloroflouro carbon. it is used in refrigerators, AC (air conditioner) and in many other paints. it is very harmful as it damage the ozone layer. the ozone layer in the atmosphere protects us from the uv (ultraviolet) rays which are very harmful rays, can cause skin cancer and many other disease. there is also a hole (ozone layer in very little amount) in the Antarctica. if it's used more and more then there will be more such holes and because of this holes uv rays can easily pass through the atmosphere and cause many problems. as ozone layer don't allow uv rays to pass through them.

hope this helps..!
