Answer:

Write any two characteristics of Chemisorption.

In chemisorption, the gas molecules or atoms are held to the solid surface by chemical bonds which can be a covalent bond or Ionic bond in nature.

Chemisorptions is not reversible in nature because a surface compound is formed due to chemical interaction between the gas molecule & solid surface.

♡ Chemisorption is a kind of adsorption which involves a chemical reaction between the surface and the adsorbate. New chemical bonds are generated at the adsorbant surface. The strong interaction between the adsorbate and the substrate surface creates new types of electronic bonds.
