Heyya!

Coagulation: Coagulation is a process of aggregating together the colloidal particles so as to change them into large sized particles which ultimately settle as precipitate. Another name for coagulation is precipitation. Coagulation is generally brought about by the addition of electrolyte.

When an electrolyte is added to a colloidal solution, the particles of the sol take up the ions which are oppositely charged and thus get neutralized.

Hope it helps! :)

Answer- Coagulation is the process by which small colloidal particles lose their charges and combine together to form big sized particles which ultimately settle down.

For example:- Milk

Milk is a colloid and it contains proteins. Milk protein coagulate to form yogurt.
