Colanisation means establishing a settlement or colony by a group of people who seek to take control of territories or countries.
It is usually a large-scale immigration of people to a 'new' location and the expansion of their civilisation and culture into this area.
The most important impact is “Unification of the country” due to Railways projects, In-numerous cities got connected and the English started procuring goods from Indian workshops and industries (Please read Sir JN Tata’s pioneering industries) for the British Expeditionary Force of Lord Napier, this gave the economic strength and confidence on the country called India.
The second important impact was Lord Macaulay’s introduction of schools in India, the English language which bonded the heterogeneous Indians with a common official language and most importantly the eagerness to understand the western philosophy and scientific research which was widely considered as infinitely superior to our ancient civilization

Answer:
Colonization (or colonisation) is a process by which a central system of power dominates the surrounding land and its components. Colonization was linked to the spread of tens of millions from Western European states all over the world.
