What is colour of aqueous layer in dna isolation of pea leaf?

While during RNA isolation from cell lines, I processed until 70% ethanol step and stored the pellet in 70% ethanol in -20 deg Celsius for a week. However, When today I started with it the whole ethanol solution was yellow also the pellet was yellow. .
