Decentralisation is the process by which the activities of an organisation , particularly those regarding planning and decision making are, distributed or delegated away from a central, authoritative location or group.
Importance
Decentralisation helps the managers at the lower levels to take all those decisions, which are for the betterment of organisation , on their own and to develop solutions for solving the various problems they face.
