What is density of a substance with a mass of 157 g and a volume of 412 cm3. Can this substance float on water?

 =  \frac{mass}{volume}
 =  \frac{157}{412}
=0.381 g/cm^3
density of water is 1g/cm^3
so the substance would float as it has less density.
