What is difference b/w DNA and plasmid?

Genomic DNA is DNA that is part of a organism's chromosomes. A Plasmid is small loop of DNA which is separate. Bacteria typically have one circular chromosome, but a variable number of plasmid which they swap with other bacterial of their type.
