Difference between seasonal and disguised unemployment:-

1. Seasonal Unemployment:

•Getting employment only for the part of the year in certain sectors, like agriculture is called seasonal unemployment.

•It is mostly found in agro-based industry.

•It is found both in rural as well as urban areas.

•There are certain busy seasons when sowing, harvesting, weaving and threshing is done.

2. Disguised Unemployment:

•A situation wherein marginal productivity of labour is zero. It is not visible and found among wage earners, mostly in agriculture.

•It is mostly found in agriculture

•It is found in rural sectors only.

•The work requires the service of five people but engages eight people.

Disguised unemployment
1) in case of distinguished unemployment people appear to be employed but are actually not employed.
2) some time in agriculture families eight people are working, in the farm, where is only five people are needed to do that work. thus, three person are surplus and they are not needed on the farm. they also do not turn increase the production of the farm.
3) if these three production from the farm will not decrease therefore these three person appear to be employed but are actually disguised employment.
Seasonal unemployment
1) seasonal employment happen when people are not able 2 find jobs during some month of the year.
2) people dependent upon agriculture usually face such a kind of problem.
3) during this period, the remain unemployed and are said to be seasonally unemployed.
