what is difference between ferric and ferrous , and how they have 2+ and 3+ ions???
friend can please anyone help me

ferric means the ion lost electrons, in this case 3 which is also shown as Fe3+. ferrous means the ion has lost electrons, in this case 2 which is also shown as  Fe2+
