Mass :- Mass is the actual amount of material contained in a body and is measured in kg, gm, etc.
Weight:- Weight is the force exerted by the gravity on that object mg.

a). mass means the total amount of substance it have while weight is the force due to which earth attract any body towards it's centre.
b). mass is a scalar quantity while weight is a vector quantity.
c). mass of a body never can be zero while weight can be zero( w = mg).
because g = 0 at centre of the earth.
