The old coins tell us about the administration of kings in older times .

The new coins tell us about the culture diversity in a specific country and about the wealth of the country.

OLD COINS

Old coins are made of copper,silver, gold,etc. Coins  which were made during monarchy period contain pictures or names of kings, queens,etc, the year when it was made, any kind of symbols showing the administrative reforms or achievements of the ruler. it helps to find out past events of hstory. Museums collect old coins.

NEW COINS

Only RBI( Reserve Bank of India) has the authority to issue new coins and    currencies. we cannot use old coins for buying things. we are allowed to only use coins  and currencies issued by RBI. New coins also cointains information about the year when it was made but it does not contain pictures of rulers.
