what is difference between polygon and quadrilateral??plz answer faster.....

a quadrilateral is a specific type of polygon. quadrilaters and polygons with 4 sides.triangles are polygons with 3 sides (minimum number of sides of polygon, pentagons are polygons with 5 sides......you get a idea. A polygon is a closed shape with atleast 3 sides.

A polygon is closed shape made of n line segments where > 2

A quadrilateral is a polygons with n = 4.

polygon means a figure which made up of only line segment and we can draw polygon by infinite seg. but quadrilateral is made up of only 4 line seg.
