Common salt is obtained from sea (naturally) while iodized salt is processed form of common salt. It is a heterogeneous mixture of sodium chloride containing about 0.01% sodium or potassium iodide and is used for treatment of goitre disease.

common salt is generally the sodium chloride which we use in our daily needy purpose and iodised salt is commonlycomes from iodine it helps in deploying the deasease of iodine deficiency which is mainly goiter.
