But it is not divisible by 3.
Becoz, it has remainder=1
[remainder should be 0 so,
subtract 1 then 100 become 99]
So largest 2 digit no: divisible by 3=99
[remainder 1 is become 3 by 1+2]
So 100+2=102 is the smallest 3 digit
no: divisible by 3
ie, 102-99=3
