READING MEANS SIMPLY UNDERSTANDING SOMETHING.
STUDYING MEANS TO UNDERSTAND  AND TO GET IT PRINTED ON ONES MIND.AFTER STUDYING ONE CAN RECOLLECT  WAT THEY HAVE STUDIED.

Studying is to read a text, and to store it in one's memory, and if anyone asks, one can tell what he had studied.
It is similar to learning.

But, reading is just going through a text, in the intention of getting some points, and not learning. If asked, the reader cannot say all the points what he had read.

This is the difference between studying, and reading.
