⚪WHAT IS MAMMALIA ?

ANSWER :

Mammalia is a class, or grouping, of organisms within the phylum Chordata, and kingdom Animalia. This class is limited to organisms which embryonically develop directly (as opposed to having a larval stage). To develop directly, mammals utilize specialized membranes including the amnion, chorion, and allantois. All mammals further have an opening in their skulls below their eye, or temporal fenestrae. Mammals as a class further possess a neocortex, or forebrain, which is highly specialized and greatly enlarged compared to all other classes of organisms. Mammals grow hair, nurse their young, and all have 3 middle ear bones which are adapted jawbones from more primitive organisms. For these reasons, humans, bats, and whales are all mammals despite living very different lives.
