DNA fingerprint:

DNA fingerprinting is the process of finding the evidence on the culprit who had been involved in criminal cases.

Explanation:

  • In this process the DNA fingerprint on the object of evidence is captured and then processes in the lab for DNA testing.
  • Hence the DNA from the evidence and suspect (criminal) is kept for matching by running the gel, if the match is positive then the suspect is proved to be in a criminal case.
