● Earth is simply a planet on which we live because it is the planet where there is life. It is also known as "blue planet".

● Three layers of Earth :-

1) Crust : The outermost layer of the Earth is called crust which is composed of crustal rocks. The two sub-layers of the Earth's crust are Sial (Silicon + aluminium) & Sima (Silicon + magnesium)

2) Mantle : It is the central layer of the Earth and it has two sub-layers - Upper mantle & lower mantle.

3) Core : It is the innermost layer of the Earth. It is also known as the Nife layer in which "Nife" means the alloy of nickel and iron. This layer is thus mostly rich in nickel and iron. It has the highest range of temperature. Temperature even generally ranges to 2700℃.
