These two terms are same, they have only the difference in sign. Electron gain enthalpy is the energy released when we add one more extra electron to isolated neutral atom while electron affinity is the tendency of isolated atom to gain 1 more electron in it.

They are both the same (essentially), but electron affinity is used to describe the energy that is provided to the surroundings of an atom when an electron is accepted, rather electron gain enthalpy describes the amount of energy released by said atom that gains an electron.
