The electron configuration of an atom is the representation of the arrangement of electrons that are distributed among the orbital shells and subshells.
For example the electronic configuration of Hydrogen is 1 or 1s1
For He, the configuration is 2 or 1s2
For Li, the configuration is 2,1 or 1s2,2s1
And so on...
Hope you get it!!:))

Electronic configuration is a distribution of electrons of an atom or molecules of an atomic or molecular orbitals. This is also useful for describing the chemical bonds that hold together.
