Embryogenesis is the process by which the embryo or the same parent like gene forms and develop.

This process takes place in all the living beings who can produce the next generation.

In Mammals, the stages of embryogenesis refer as prenatal development followed as fetal development and in plants, it is referred as pertinent stage followed by dormancy and germination.
