Answer:

Erythroblastosis fetalis is hemolytic anemia in the fetus (or neonate, as erythroblastosis neonatorum) caused by transplacental transmission of maternal antibodies to fetal red blood cells.

The disorder usually results from incompatibility between maternal and fetal blood groups, often Rho(D) antigens.

Answer:

hiii....Maya...here is your answer....

Explanation:

erythroblastosis fetalis is a disease in which Rh-ve blood of pregnant mother transfused with RH+ be flood of foetus....and RH antigens of the foetus do not get exposed to RH negative blood of mother in first pregnancy as the to blood are well separated by the placenta however during the delivery of the first child there is a possibility of exposure of a maternal blood to small amount of rs positive blood from the foetus in such cases the mother starts preparing antibodies against Rh antigens in her blood in case of her subsequent pregnancy the RH antibodies from the mother can leak into the blood of foetus and destroy the fetal RBC.

this could be fatal for the foetus or could cause severe anaemia and jaundice to the baby

I hope you will agree with my answer....buddy❤️
