Fossil fuels are that fuels that are found in earth, oceans, hill etc. we use fossil fuels in our daily life . for eg. petrol, diesel etc.

They are the remains of plants and animals which were buried in mud or something like in which they couldn't be decomposed by the action of micro organisms ,they are called fossils....
and use of these fossils to obtain energy are called fossil fuels.....
