What is friction? Explain with an example .

Friction is a contact force which comes from an opposite direction of motion and stops all moving objects.

Eg:- A ball rolling on the ground comes to rest due to friction.

Friction is an opposite force acting on an object to stop it's motion.... friction is a necessary evil and is important to do any task in our daily lives...
eg: a ball rolling on a floor stops after a point of time this is because of friction which acts opposite to other forces acting on the ball.
