Geodes occur in sedimentary and volcanic rocks.They are formed by chemical precipitation.T hey are the secondary structures in a rock.T hey occur in hollow areas like burrows of animals.B ubbles of volcanic rocks also have geodes.D issolved minerals seep into a hollow area and harden into geodes.T hey are very hard to break..!!
