Global warming is the increase in temperature of earth due to increase in concentration of green house gases like CO2.
Due to increase in global warming, earth starts acting as glass house in which heat can enter but cant exit.
Due to this temperature increases, and ice caps are melting which can flood the whole earth.

The undue rise in the temperature of earth's atmosphere due to excessive greenhouse effect produced by increasing amounts of carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere is called global warming. If global warming is increased then :
● Sea levels will rise dramatically
●Reduced rainfall in some areas of the earth leading to droughts
● Threat to the existence of life on the earth
