what is Greenwich mean time ?how we find time using GMT?

it is an standard unit of time. for ex. many countries have the value of +5:30 like India.
means we can identify any country's time accepting. to their GMT..

Because it was very hard to keep track of time in different countries just while traveling so we took a time zone it is 5:30 GMT
