Answer:

-A hormone (from the Greek participle ὁρμῶν, "setting in motion") is any member of a class of signaling molecules, produced by glands in multicellular organisms, that are transported by the circulatory system to target distant organs to regulate physiology and behavior. Hormones have diverse chemical structures, mainly of three classes:

+ eicosanoids

+ steroids

+ amino acid/protein derivatives (amines, peptides, and proteins)

-Adrenaline is a hormone secreted by adrenal medulla during stress. This is called as emergency hormone because it initiates quick reation which makes the individual to think and respond quickly to the stress. The hormone increases metabolic rate. there occurs dialation of blood vessels going to heart and the brain.
