Isomers are those structures which have same molecular formula but different structural organisation ...There are many types of isomerism ..if two structures for eg-propan-1-ol and propan-2-ol ..show only change in structure of OH group...so they show structural isomerism...
There are many other types of isomerism like functional ..chain ..etc which hav different characteristics showing isomers..
