what is Land Degradation? how are mining and overgrazing activities responsible for land degradation in different states of India? explain

land degradation is the gradual removal of the top layer of soil

singh86: it is so bcoz when cattles overgraze the eat a lot of grass and grass holds the soil tight and prevents it from loosening so it tightens the soil and therefore prevents land degradation
