One who doesn't have land or not going to inherit any, but does the farming on other party field either by sub letting, leasing or contract Farming. 
It can be community Farming too, in which land is being pooled from their owners and is being cultivated by landless farmers, based on some predefined terms, where they have the farming rights but the ownership lies with the original land holders.

farmers who don't have their own land and earn their livelihood by working as labourer on large or medium farmer's land.
