there is two type of latent heat :-
1.latent heat of fusion :- is the amount of heat consumed when 1 kg of solid changes into liquid at a constant temperature .

2.latent heat of vaporization :- is the amount of heat consumed when 1 kg of liquid changes into vapour at constant temperature .
