Liberty is a state of being free within a society from oppression by any authority or external forces. It is the freedom of expressing oneself. One can, therefore, express one's religious and political views without fear. India has many political parties and religions.
However, if one misuses the freedom of being liberated and does things in an extremely unacceptable manner it would be harmful to society, e.g. religious or political extremism.
